Youth Mental Health First Aid Training

With Jewish LearningWorks

More than ever, teens are in need of mental health support from parents, educators, and adult community members.

That is why we’re offering an exclusive upcoming training session to become certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid. And you’re invited!

This training is designed to teach...

  • youth professionals
  • parents, caregivers
  • teachers
  • school staff
  • neighbors

and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12–18) who is experiencing a mental health or addiction crisis.

What does the training look like?

The training begins with a 2-hour self-paced program that you can do online at your leisure. Participants in the training need to have completed this 2-hour at-home training before joining the virtual program. The virtual live training lasts 5 hours and will be done with the other program participants. After you complete the 7 hours of training, you will become certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid.

When is the next training?

The training will be split between two evenings: April 27 and May 4 from 6:30–9:00 pm PDT.
